Communication and customer collaboration is the key to our success. There are multiple facets to producing complex assemblies and MEC can mange the entire process to ensure that our clients receive the resulting "diamond" of well-planned, on-time quality product. Quality is "built into" our processes. We utilize continual audits to ensure the accuracy of process critical and functionally critical demensions, maintaining a world-class level of quality.

What we do is take a look at how we engineer something that accomplishes what you're trying to accomplish and we will inject our knowledge of equipment manufacturing processes. The term we like to use in these kinds of situations is 'value engineering'. We can also take how we cut the material in a way that can improve throughput. We know what standard pattern sizes of steel are, what our lasers can do, what our robotic welders can do, and what weld placements can be used to streamline the process. We know what physical sizes of things we can e-coat verses powder paint.

We can work with someone in a very transparent fashion on cost points and how doing this in the design can improve throughput or material utilization. And we can even build the finished product itself so in the end it's a shared exercise.

Any application in any industry where we can leverage what we do well - which is metal fabricating, the welding, the coatings, the prototyping - that's what we want to do.
