Roland Chaloupka Hired to Lead
Lean Six Sigma and Quality Teams
Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is pleased to announce Roland Chaloupka as our new Quality Manager.
Our Lean Six Sigma (LSS) group will be combined with our quality department and will report directly to Roland. Roland comes to us from Mercury Marine where he most recently held the position of Product Manager and prior to that, Senior Quality Engineer. Roland has 25 years of quality experience and will be an excellent addition to our team. He has extensive experience in Kaizen Training, Six Sigma Green Belt Training and ISO Systems.
Roland has a Master of Science, Organizational Leadership and Quality from Marian University as well as a Bachelor of Science, Management Systems, with an emphasis on Quality Systems fro Milwaukee School of Engineering. Our Lean Six Sigma (LSS) group and our quality department have helped our business improve significantly this past year. We expect to achieve even more by having closer alignment between the group “that ensures product conformance” (i.e. the definition of quality) and the group focused on LSS improvements and uses the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) process to continuously improve our business.
