Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is proud to have been announced as the winner of the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Special Award for Community Involvement and Conservation Education.
Bob Kamphuis accepted this award on behalf of all the employee shareholders “a huge thanks goes out to the dedication of each employee shareholder within our six divisions; MEC Contract, MEC Prototype, MEC Shotshell Reloaders, MEC Engineered Products, Phoenix Coaters, and Fabricating Specialists. Forty Wisconsin businesses have been nominated for the 22nd Annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards (MOTY) for outstanding achievements in manufacturing. Winners were announced at a black-tie awards dinner and program on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. The MOTY Awards recognize Wisconsin companies that demonstrate a commitment to business excellence which has a positive impact on the company and the state, making Wisconsin a better place to live, work and play.
The Grand Awards are categorized based on employee count; small, medium, large and mega. MEC was nominated into the Mega-Company category for companies with over 750 employees, as well as the Sustainability category.
