Tom Verbos and Tim Birkholz Promoted; Ryan Raber Hired
Tom Verbos Tim Birkholz Ryan Raber
Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that Thomas J. Verbos has been promoted to Vice President & General Manager of MEC's Contract and Prototype business units reporting directly to me.
Tom joined MEC in 1998 as a Sales Account Manager and has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice President of Sales for these business units. Tom holds bachelors degrees in management and liberal arts as well as a masters of business administration with an emphasis in finance.
In his new role, Tom will be responsible for all performance aspects of MEC's Contract and prototype business units.
In addition, Tim Birkholz has been promoted to Plant Manager for all Mayville operations reporting to Tom. Tim joined MEC in 2004 as Materials Manager and has held various positions in the company with responsibilities for Production Planning, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving and most recently Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma planning, training and implementation.
Ryan Raber will continue to report to Tom and lead the Sales efforts as Director of Contract Sales. Ryan will also assume responsibility for the sales efforts of the Prototype division with the Director of Prototype reporting to him.
