Phoenix Coaters announces plans to construct a new 303,000 sq. ft. building in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to house a new state of the art E-Coat and Topcoat paint system for the customers of their Phoenix Coaters Division. The building will be constructed in Beaver Dam's Lakeside Business Park. The paint system will be fully operational by June of 2010 and more than doubles Phoenix Coaters coating capabilities.

Legate Signs With MEC

Verbos, Birkholz, Raber

Mayville Engineering Co., 715 South St., promoted Thomas J. Verbos to vice president and general manager of the contract and prototype divisions. He joined the company in 1998 as a sales account manager and most recently served as vice president of sales for contract and prototype divisions. MEC also promoted Timothy J. Birkholz to plant manager for contract and prototype operations. He was hired in 2004 as materials manager. Ryan F. Raber, the contract division's sales director, will assume sales responsibilities for prototypes.
