MEC is an employee-owned company. That means all employees have a personal interest in seeing that your products are manufactured to your specifications. MEC uses computerized JIT shop floor systems, which include capacity planning and machine loading. All processes are monitored using our SPC program. Using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), we can automate your contract manufacturing purchases and administration. |

Our experienced team will assist you in achieving the most cost-effective design and economical production methods for all your contract metal-working requirements. We also manage plastics, heat-treatment and plating services. |

MEC Design EngineeringDesign engineering is the front line of Mayville Engineering Company. Our experienced staff uses advanced Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing systems (CAD/CAM), including three-dimensional (3D) and solid modeling for product design, tooling layouts and programming production machinery. We also create two-dimensional drawings and flats from the customer's 3D files. This integrated process delivers design instructions directly to the production floor. It insures accuracy and consistency from design and prototype through final production.

MEC AssemblyUnlike some contract manufacturers, MEC goes beyond stamping and machining. Our value-added capabilities include welding, riveting, staking, pemming, painting, and mechanical assembly. Our efficient paint line is capable of electro-deposition epoxy finishing and top-coating with high-solid baked enamels or water-based paints. Skilled workers efficiently assemble, test, and prepare final assemblies for shipment. Many of our customers find it cost-effective to have MEC provide complete fabricated and assembled products. |
